recent major performance issues

Using PIA Win64 client v 2.02, Cliqz browser v 1.36.0 (based on most recent Mozilla). For a little over a week, the displayed latency and perceived performance from the US-based VPN servers that I typically select have been hugely degraded. I access through a 768k (down) Verizon DSL line, so I'm not expecting great performance, but things have recently slowed to a literal crawl. I'm currently showing the following latency in the "connected" panel:
US West - 1815 ms
US Florida - 1816 ms
US NYC - 1823 ms
..and worse from there. Those are on the order of 10x what I typically see. Yet Portugal is showing 159 ms, and the performance when using it is greatly improved over the US connections, so that is plausible. I have recently upgraded both PIA and Cliqz to current released versions, but this issue predates both upgrades, and I don't believe there is a relationship to versioning of either product. Anyone else seeing this kind of behavior? Any clues as to what might be the cause? It's becoming a bit maddening...

Hi, did you manage to fix the problem?
  • Hi, did you manage to fix the problem?
  • I have been getting this also ever since november, Cities i use like california, seattle, denver, las vegas all have scrolling 3 green dots they don't even register latency they are UNCONNECTABLE! Also us west and seattle keep jumping up to high latencies and sometimes freeze during connection. I figured the problem would fix itself and there was just a outage or issue somewhere but this has been going on for long time without being resolved, And clicking the link posted above by PIATravis doesn't even work either! Says "there's been a glitch and directs you to some slack.redirect site. What the hell is going on with PIA? I swear ever since buyout it has gone down hill like i was afraid of. Never had issues before.
